Hi, I’m Arjit!
I build things with code, nurture growth in others, get lost in good books, and recharge through gaming and working out.
I love the Internet and computers. At heart, I’m an engineer, but today I wear the hat of an engineering leader. Right now, I am the Engineering Lead for a Backend Foundation Missions, where we take care of all the complex backend work for doing all the… product discovery.
I’m particularly interested in incident management culture, observability, monitoring, and everything that keeps systems resilient and teams proactive. I thrive in chaotic, undefined situations—those moments where someone needs to step up, make sense of the complexity, and drive things forward. When it’s a “hey, can someone please figure this out?” kind of moment, it feels like my calling.
Berlin is my home base, a city that’s taught me to be genuine, appreciate individuality, and celebrate the unique qualities in each person.
Anyway. The motivation for starting this is twofolds:
- I want to regularly jot down my thoughts on areas that seem interesting to me
- I have a terrible memory, and a lot of thoughts about a lot of things, and if I don’t write them, they have a tendency to slip away
